The most important factor contributing to a good yield is the soil mixture in your Grow Bag. Here are some tips on how to prepare potting mixture for your Grow Bags. 
- Take top soil from your backyard. It has the most nutrients. Spread it on a plastic sheet in sun for a day.
- Add lime to the soil and mix well. Lime reduces the pH in acidic soil and will help the plants absorb more nutrients.
- Add dried manure to the soil. Do not add wet recent manure as the nitrogen content is too high and will damage the plants.
- Add shredded coco peat. Coco peat will absorb moisture.
- Start filling 1/4th of the growbag with the above mixture.
- Add a layer of vegetable waste from your kitchen.
- Fill another 1/4th with the above potting mixture.
- Add another small layer of vegetable waste or compost.
- Now fill the growbag to 3/4th level with the potting mixture.
- Plant your seeds.
